Therese has formally objected to the Development Consent Order submitted to the Planning Inspectorate by Scottish Power Renewables for onshore infrastructure required to facilitate both East Anglia North One and East Anglia Two windfarms.
Ninety-four Conservative Members of Parliament have signed a joint letter to the Chief Executive of British Gas, Sarwijit Sambhi, calling on him to reconsider the company’s changes that have significantly reduced the number of places customers can top up their prepayment meter.
Therese met Network Rail’s Anglian Route Director, Mark Budden on Tuesday to get to the bottom of the widespread disruption affecting rail services in the region. She was joined by two other Suffolk MPs, Jo Churchill and Tom Hunt.
Therese has written to the Transport Secretary asking him to intervene after yet more disruption on the railway in East Suffolk. The disruption comes as a result of a problem with how the wheels of Greater Anglia’s new trains connect with the track safety signalling system.
Following a meeting with the Schools Minister, Nick Gibb MP, Therese signed a joint letter with five other Suffolk MPs on the consultation on national government guidance regarding home to school transport.
