Tackling climate change and improving the environment is a key cross-government activity, with strong support for action from across Parliament. Therese was pleased to meet people from Rendlesham recently to discuss this and also what the government was doing about it.
Following the nomination Therese submitted back in April, the East Suffolk & North Essex Foundation Trust ICT team led by Deputy Director, Darren Atkins have made the shortlist for an NHS Parliamentary Award.
Therese is hosting a public meeting this Saturday when local NHS bosses, including the CCG's Chief Officer, Ed Garrett, and other NHS representatives will be available to answer questions and concerns about the Felixstowe Minor Injuries Unit.
Therese is seeking an urgent meeting with the NHS boss for the East of England, Anne Radmore, to express her concerns on patients struggling to be referred to the Felixstowe Minor Injuries Unit (MIU), particularly via the NHS 111 service.
Today is a historic day for rail transport in our part of the world as it marks the first Norwich in 90 and Suffolk in 60 trains. From now on, there will be two fast trains in each direction every weekday between East Anglia and London Liverpool Street.
