Therese raises Rock Barracks accommodation issues in Parliament

Yesterday in Parliament Therese raised the problems of poor accommodation and maintenance suffered by residents of Rock Barracks and Pinnacle's failure to get a grip on the issue. Neighbouring MP and Defence Procurement Minister, James Cartlidge, agreed to visit and look into the problem.

Therese Guest Speaker at Energy Infrastructure Public Meeting

Therese has consistently been working with campaign groups like SEAS and SASES to raise concerns about the impact of excessive energy infrastructure on the Suffolk coast and was pleased to be their guest speaker at a public meeting on Friday in Saxmundham.

Therese Visits Suffolk New College

Earlier this month, Therese visited Suffolk New College and was shown around the Ipswich campus by CEO and principal, Alan Pease.

Therese Slams Council for Blocking Bathing Water Bid

Therese has slammed East Suffolk Council for failing to back an application to make a section of the River Deben at Woodbridge a designated bathing water. As landowners, the government requires their specific backing in order for the application to be considered. 

Statement from Therese on leaving Government

"I have today written to the Prime Minister to step down from government. It has been a privilege to serve him and indeed five Prime Ministers as a minister.
