Therese Hosts Public Meeting on Scottish Power Renewables Infrastructure

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone that attended the meeting and to the councillors that participated.

Together with local county councillors Andrew Reid and Russ Rainger, Therese is hosting a public meeting so local residents can share their opinions on the latest proposals for the offshore wind farms and associated infrastructure for Scottish Power Renewables.

Therese said: "We are not happy with their proposals for the area. Neither of the sites SPR considered were appropriate and it was my suggestion, via the consultation, that SPR and National Grid find an alternative, such as the proposed nuclear site at Bradwell."

The meeting will take place on Friday 28th June at 530pm. If you would like to attend, please confirm by midday on Wednesday 26th June by emailing me at therese.coffey.mp@parliament.uk or by calling 0207 219 7164. You will need to include your name and address. The meeting is for constituents only and will be ticketed on a first come first served basis. The venue details will be given to registered attendees. Due to security reasons, ID may be required and anyone who has not pre-registered will not be admitted.
